Love this house and its location. Shame it hasn’t been cleaned for years. Had to call agent about Wifi which was not existent or poor. Didn’t get a commitment to solving the problem. Rent is very high (most I’ve paid on Straddie) so expected a clean house with wifi. Would also be great if dogs were allowed (provided renters know it’s unfenced) Despite these issues, love the house

Lovely beach house ... enjoyed our stay.. the property really needs pest control, cockroaches in abundance, lots of maintenance and definitely a deep clean, it seems to only get a basic clean in between guests... but it’s in a great location and really private.

With overgrown bushes it was awkward getting in and out of the driveway with cars . They scraped the roof of the car each time we entered or exited. The doona covers needed a wash with marks on them makeup and gekko poo on them . Gekkos were in abundance in this property as were spiders and cockroaches. The lighting was very dark - difficult to see at night . Not enough fans in the living / dining area . The third bedroom was part of the laundry. Water poured in from the gaps in the door when it rained. Location was great but I think a fair bit of maintenance needs to be had.

Amazing views looking across the beach to the sunset. Nice to have a fire in the pit outside with plenty wood. Dark throughout the house with black tiles and dark wood.

Only one toilet roll, so make sure you take extra
Kitchen is reasonably complete with most things you need.

Very dusty with cobwebs on the walls and cockroaches throughout the kitchen.
Beds and linen were comfortable. Beach towels not provided.

Our family loved this place. It has such character, an mazing view to wake up to. The fire pit is super handy. Perfect for the island getaway. Although the pub being so close is a little dangerous hahaha

Rad House!

This house is so rad. We loved everything about it, the fire-pit, the view, the Kookaburras and the general quirkiness of the place.Can't wait to come back, although the proximity to the pub is dangerous.
