Stradbroke Chamber Music Festival

Three days of world-class chamber music in the Point Lookout Community Hall. 17th to 19th July.

Tickets must be purchased (while stocks last).

Leading Australian and international musicians will gather on Minjerribah (North Stradbroke Island) to present six concerts from beloved classics to bold contemporary works. This year the festival welcomes acclaimed mezzo soprano Lotte Betts-Dean, celebrated for her compelling interpretations of contemporary repertoire, art song, and chamber music.

The festival promises a weekend winter escape where intimate live music meets sea air and island vibe.

Expect a mix of string, wind, piano and vocal works performed up close in our relaxed island setting - the kind of festival where concerts spill naturally into beach walks, good conversations, winter sunshine and, with the ocean as backdrop, the chance of spotting a whale breaching between performances.

This richly varied program journeys from the elegance of the French Baroque to lush Romanticism and striking 20th-century colour.
