Quandamooka Festival 2026 (12/13 Sept)

Quandamooka Festival 12th and 13th September 2026

Blending contemporary practice with enduring cultural traditions, Quandamooka Festival offers a vibrant celebration of one of the world's oldest continuing cultures.

This year's multi-artform program features a powerful traditional dance gathering (Kunjiel), panel discussions, workshops, markets, music, weaving, gallery tours, kids area and more. The music program will be headlined by powerhouse live performer Dan Sultan, with more artists and info on our socials and websites.

The festival will again be hosted at the award-winning QUAMPI Arts & Culture at Gumpi (Dunwich), Minjerribah (North Stradbroke Island), a gathering place for the Ngugi, Nunukal and Gorenpul clans of the Quandamooka people. Just a short walk from the Sealink Ferry, and a 50c bus ride from the Gold Cat Flyer, the Festival is easily accessible for everyone. It is a free, all -ages event.
