Such a great spot and an easy walk to and from the beach and the pub. House is very well equiped and nice and tidy.

Big home within an easy walk to the beach. Clean and tidy home and pet friendly. Some windows don't have fly mesh so mozzie repellent is required, and no aircon in house but fans are provided. A great place to stay, we would be happy to return again

Love this house and will stay there again. Just a couple of things...some of the crockery in the kitchen is chipped. Also it would be helpful if garbage bags for the kitchen tidy could be supplied.

Great stay - superb location for the beaches we love. Property very suitable for our family of 5. If property had some screens on the top level then we would give it a 5/5. Many thanks as always and see you next time.

Very comfortable accommodation and well located

Lovely location, close to dog friendly home beach. Comfortable beds, well-equipped kitchen. Noisy neighbours partied at midnight on one occasion and very excited children next door woke at 4 am on Christmas morning! Apart form that a most relaxing, restorative and enjoyable stay.

Great location close to Home Beach a dog lead free beach. The upstairs has a lovely new kitchen 2022/23, and has great breezes. The downstairs bathroom has a new vanity. A few more fly screens upstairs to reduce flies and mosquitos.

Comfy beds. Could have done with some screens in the living areas but bedrooms were screened .
Lounge was comfy but the cushions were bit outdated and a bit musty/smelly and could have done with a clean and the bunk room smelt like wee bit that could have been from previous guests not mentioning their kid wet the bed ??The staff were lovely when I mentioned it and came promptly over when I rang and said that the door lock was broken. Overall great value for money and I would stay there again, just maybe a lounge freshen up and a bit of a spring clean( under beds and lounges were a bit dusty and a few big trails and ants in the bottom bathroom but nothing major)

Everything was great, the unit was really clean and tidy. Handover was easy. Plenty of things in the kitchen.
Would have appreciated very basic toiletries in the bathroom, the hand soap was empty. Linen and towels were clean and tidy.

The house and the location were perfect. We could walk to all the main spots around Point Lookout and enjoyed fantastic beach walks every day. The dogs loved it. The house is airy and feels very homely and comfortable. Have already passed on details to friends.

Love this house and will stay again. Downstairs bathroom shower screen needs attention. Also it would be useful to have a clothes drying rack downstairs.

This was our second time staying at Straddie Beach House 3. It's the perfect layout for us, consisting of a couple with two kids, and another couple. Heaps of utensils and a BBQ to use. Otherwise an easy walk to the pub. Patrolled Beach at the end of the street or walk slightly further to Cylinder Beach which also has a playground and a coffee van. We also saw a lot of kangaroos from the balcony. Heaps of bath towels and adequate linen supplied. The only fault was the dishwasher smelt like it needed a deep clean.

Straddie is an incredible experience and has been to me since childhood. My stay had everything for a perfect experience for my dogs and I.

We enjoyed our stay, it was clean, quiet and a stroll to Cylinder Beach. The balcony was baking in sunlight every afternoon, so that was lovely during winter. The place was a bit cold in the evenings (we stayed during July) as there is no heating. We have small kids but I can imagine the place would suit a family with older children also as there is a downstairs room with its own TV and DVD player. We appreciated the DVD collection - lots of great family and Pixar movies.

Conveniently close to Home beach for dog walking access. The property was tidy and clean. The oven and BBQ could do with a decent clean and there were a few ants initially however easily resolved with ant spray. Good book and DVD selection. A very pleasant stay

Had a great week with friends and my little dog at this beach house. Three minute easy walk to the best dog friendly beach. Very spacious and comfortable house. Nice view from the deck. Well equipped with everything you need. Only suggestion for improvement would be insect screens in the living area as the mosquitoes can be quite ferocious. Easy walk to a great pub which is one of the few places to eat out. Bus to the ferry at the end of the road if you’ve got visitors coming over. Overall a very enjoyable stay and will definitely return.

This is the second year we have stayed here. Great location, very neat home with all the amenities and kitchen stocked with a lot of cutlery, crockery utensils etc. Very comfortable for the 6 adults who stay and a short stroll the beach.

We had a wonderful stay at stradbroke the house was in a great location for us as we had the dogs. Lovely cool breeze house. I would recommend putting a blind on the eastern window in the lounge area as ut can be a bit hot when sitting there at certain times.

Fabulous unit, clean, tidy, open and airy. Loved sitting out on the balcony with snax. Perfect walking distance to the Pt Lookout Hotel, dog off-leash Home Beach, and hanging out at the Bowlo... even got a few ends in.Perfect stay for us... Will definitely book again. Thankyou.

Close to dog friendly / swimming beach Felt like we were in a tree house. Met the resident Koala Opened all the louvres to cool the place down with the ocean breeze and then shut them all tight when hit by a massive storm to feel secure. House has everything and good wifi perfect for a couple, family or even 2 families. Very short drive to everything you could possibly need. Pub was close but disappointing average food but the local island beer is nice. Highly recommend this property for short or long stays Justin

This house which permits stays with a dog is near the dog “off leash” area on Home Beach. It is a good value house, but would be improved with a wifi source in the house. We had some issues with the dishwasher that is getting on in years. Comfortable beds, lots of hot water and a bath as well as showers.
