This level also includes a lounge room and two bedrooms, one of which is a master with an ensuite, along with a family bathroom and separate toilet.
Downstairs offers a private parents' retreat, featuring a queen bed in the spacious rumpus room, a second living area, and a servery window opening onto the outdoor deck—perfect for relaxing with an afternoon drink in the sea breeze. Outside there is also the laundry room and a third bathroom and an outdoor shower to rinse off after a day at the beach.
Perfectly positioned, this home is just a short walk to Cylinder Beach, the local Foodworks, and a bus stop at the end of the street, making it convenient for both holidaymakers who don't want to bring the car. There is also a double car garage for use and a large carport ideal for parking the boat or jetski.

We loved the vibe of this house. It is clean and cosy and everything is in good condition.The Crows Nest was the highlight- it was my favourite place to sit at sunset, we saw whales and stars galore from up there.The 3 bathrooms are fantastic and the beds were declared comfortable by all. The house was not cold, despite it being a wintry trip.Kangaroos wandered in the garden and loads of birds dropped by.I’d visit again.

I stayed at this beautiful house with family to celebrate a couple of birthdays on Straddie. The home was warm and inviting and the perfect space for our family to spend time together. The beds were comfortable and the open plan living was very nice. I especially liked the breakfast bar downstairs with the view of the garden. The views from the crowsnest were also great and I look forward to coming back in whale season to see how many I can spot.

Such a lovely cosy holiday home! Super clean and comfortable with room for our extended family for a lovely weekend get away. An easy walk to shops and the beach, nice and quiet with kangaroos stopping by to say hi!Absolutely loved the ‘Crows Nest’ for a sundowner, with amazing 360 views, sunsets and star gazing. We will definitely be returning.

We arrived during Easter - directly from a 24hr+ flight.After the ferry ride, we drove to the house and within the first hour on the island we saw Kangaroos and Koalas- what a treat!The house itself is super comfortable and walking distance from shops and the beach. There is plenty of space in the house and a lot of facilities for a large family (bedrooms / bathrooms etc).The special treat for us was probably the "crow's nest". A seating area on top of the roof with a 360 view and an AMAZING night sky (we were lucky with no clouds and moon). All up, we truly enjoyed the stay!PS: we rarely write a review - but this one was worth it...

Great location with easy walking to beaches and shops. A warm inviting house with every amenity provided for. Ocean views as you relax on the balcony or up on the whale watching tower which doubles as the perfect ‘under the stars’ evening venue. A quiet street with birds and wildlife galore. A real treat!
We loved our stay at the Bower: the location is great being right next Cylinder beach, the house is beautiful, everything was clean and comfortable, and communication with the agency was very easy. Our favourite was sitting up on the crows nest at night watching the shooting stars. Magical.
