Great spot with views and very quiet neighbourhood. Big house to fit 2 families comfortably. House is getting a bit old and not always super well cleaned and looked after. Really lovely place though!

The house contained everything we needed. There were 10 of us - 6 adults and 4 children. We didn’t feel cramped at any time. The deck was spacious with a view to the water. This view was framed on the left and right by trees. A friendly kookaburra sat on the deck railing keeping an eye on us. While his two friends watched from a near by tree.

The property is in a very quite location which suited all of my group. We were all ready to just chill out for the week. This property has separate up & down stairs living spaces which gave us all the bit of space that we needed when we needed it and we could all be together upstairs when we wanted to be together.

We had a very relaxing week. The lead up to our stay had been very intense for all of us & this break was exactly what we all needed. The location was very peaceful making for restful sleeps allowing us to recharge.

We had a fantastic week at 12 Melinda Court thank you! The room configuration was perfect for our needs, as was the verandah and deck from which we enjoyed many meals, happy hours and dolphin sightings. The proximity to Adder Rock beach was perfect. The house was well presented and well equipped for our needs.

Position and ocean views from the verandas of the property were very good, as previously.

The property is looking a little "tired", as evidenced by damage to all the benchtop surfaces in the kitchen, faulty taps and shower door in the master bathroom, cumbersome and potentially dangerous installation of child proof gate at head of stairs, and an external hose connection point on the upstairs veranda, needing re-fixing to the host timber post.

NB. The other RW request received for "feedback" on our experience is a joke ---------- it just doesn't work, and reflects badly on the professional image of the Ray White brand name.

"This residence is a classic beach house that is casual, spacious and comfortable with everything you need. It has five bedrooms (the master with ensuite), a bathroom with toilet on the main level, and another bathroom and separate toilet downstairs. Both levels are comfortable and relaxing and both levels have the most magical views of the ocean. Four of the five bedrooms also have views. There are two washing machines and three clothes hangers to dry your clothes and towels. It is easy to keep neat and tidy and has a lovely family feel. There were 8 of us and the house is perfect for people wanting to enjoy some down time together with various living spaces to spread out and not be too far from local shops and beaches. We took our two, two year old Maltese-Shih Tzus as well, who enjoyed themselves immensely especially at Home Beach which is offleash. Downstairs in the house was perfect for them - easy to keep clean with direct access to the back yard and plenty of shelter and shade. There is no fencing and kangaroos and birds roam the back and front yards freely, so it goes without saying that a very keen eye needs to be kept on pets to ensure they don’t disturb the wildlife.Ray White were extremely easy to deal with and very prompt to answer any questions. Thanks so much for making our holiday week on Straddie/Minjerribah very easy."

Had a wonderful time. House easily accommodated 2 families and our dogs. Walking distance to Home Beach and amazing views from the balcony and kitchen where we spotted heaps of whales and dolphins.

The upstairs kitchen was the area which needed some attention. There was more than enough equipment but the cupboards required work or replacing. The bench tops left a lot to be desired. The garden was overgrown and needed regular maintenance. We did report a leak in a downstairs cupboard which seemed to come from upstairs shower.

We had a great stay at 12 Merinda Cres. RayWhite staff were super helpful and went above and beyond to get our Wollies online delivery inside prior to us checking in, that really made the whole trip stress-free, thank you. Great location, close to beaches, awesome deck for hanging out, beautiful view of the ocean, value for money is right up there.

Because this is an honest review, I do need to comment on a few things that I feel could really add value to future stays:


- Some pantry space in the kitchen to store food items especially if you are there for more than a few days. We found it super hard to cater for our group and had nowhere to store food.

- Dining / Lounge room is a large space, but the abundance of furnishings makes it feel very cluttered and small. We had to move things out of the way just to navigate around the top floor.

- Lack of fly screens, mosquitoes and flies became a real pain.

- Gardens and grounds were untidy

In saying this, I still would recommend this property and RayWhite Stradbroke to friends and family as we really enjoyed our time here.

Amazing house for more than one family to stay. Great for kids. House is well resourced with everything you could possibly need. Plenty of room and lots of seating. Incredible view. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend.

Our 2nd trip to 12 Merinda Crescent in 6 months. A quiet location, which other animals enjoy also (kangaroos, kookaburras & other bird life). Facilities are fantastic. Balcony with dining table for 10 & comfy cane couch allows for long afternoons eating, drinking, reading, lounging in the sea breeze of Home Beach.

What a great property! The house was perfect for our large family group with plenty of space to spread out. With great views from both upstairs and downstairs balconies, comfortable bedrooms and very will stocked cupboards with everything you could possibly need. The location is great, walk to Home beach, and was very peaceful. We will definitely be booking 12 Merinda Crescent again next time we head to Straddie.

The property was comfortable and well equipped. We were disappointed that "Foxtel" programmes were not available.

Stunning home to fit my big family, beds all very comfortable and decorated superbly.

We loved our week here with the entire family and dogs. The views are wonderful, the house is generously equipped for large groups and is really comfortable. There is lots of space and different areas with large tables and lounges. Everyday we saw dolphins from the back verandah and had kangaroos and kookaburras in the yard. Its so close to Flinders which is dog friendly, Home and Cylinder beaches. We hope to go back again.

Merinda Cres was a beautiful location. The wildlife was plentiful and the views from both upper and lower levels were spectacular. We even sighted whales from the kitchen! The property was very well appointed and we did not want for anything. It was a wonderful place to celebrate my Parents 50th Wedding anniversary. My family, my sister and her young family and my parents were very comfortable and enjoyed our stay very much.
