Great holiday unit for the family - thank you!

Great stay! The property was very well equipped with everything you would need on holidays. The location was perfect! Great amenities available for use also.

It was a great unit very clean and airy. Ray White
was very helpful when i needed a plug and some
dishwashing tablets.

This place is the best! The locality is perfect for beach walks to watch the whales, sunrise and sunset. When the tide is out you can walk straight up the beach to the gorge...and Pt Lookout. Next door is the bowlo, the Mexican place, the best coffee and a convenience shop. The ambience of the large well laid out apartment is calm, cool and easy. Comfortable beds and great balconies overlooking the pool and nature. Loved it.

We had family with us from NZ and it was our first time to Straddie. The complex was welcoming, check in was quick and easy, all staff very helpful. Our apartment was clean and bright and had everything we would need. Great location within walking distance of hotel, restaurants, bowling club and beach

Quiet spot and close to cylinder beach. The pool is great fun for the kids. The apartment is very spacious and gets a great breeze in the evening.

Nothing to complain about , everything was clean, the electric Jug was shorting and it was replaced quickly and hassle free, did have to put cutlery and plates through the dish washer but in these times a good idea in any case

Very stylish and spacious apartment with a great balcony. Excellent location- cylinder beach right opposite which was calm enough to swim in, the RSL an easy 5 minute walk and the Foodworks a 5 minute drive/20 minute walk. The pool was nice and everything seemed well kept up, with a communal barbecue. All communication with Ray White was prompt and courteous and the guy in the reception was really chill and nice.

Spacious, bright and very clean. We felt so at home I even watered and tended to the plants ! The decor makes this unit feel so welcoming and gives it a great holiday vibe. Great to have pool and tennis court onsite. Straddie has so much to offer, this was a perfect location, honestly did not want to get on that barge back to the "mainland". Straddie is a very special place. Can't wait to come again.

Our family of four had a wonderful stay here. The apartment is very spacious, clean, and has everything you could need - washing machine, dryer, ample kitchen crockery etc. The gardens and pool area are very well maintained. Top location too across the road from the beach. We will be back!

My husband and I and another couple stayed at Unit 12 at the Islander for a long weekend. My first impression was how big this apartment is and it has a great beachy vibe. It is a fabulous, spacious and comfortable apartment with a view of the pool, fantastic outdoor eating area, and curlews and kangaroos in the beautiful garden. It is a tropical retreat right across the road from the beach. The kitchen is well appointed and we had everything available to prepare our own meals and it was good for me as a coffee addict to have expresso too. The local pub was a short stroll and we had great meals and live music. In a few minutes drive we were able to go on the gorge walk where we saw kangaroos, kookaburras, turtles, manta rays and whales. The Blue room at Point Lookout was fantastic for breakfast and the gelati shop is a real treat. Cylinder beach was a beautiful place for sun and surf. Overall this place is fantastic value for money and I will definitely return and recommend it to friends and family.

This is a quirky, clean apartment with easy access to the beach. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Stradbroke.

Light, clean and breezy, great ceiling fans and air con for those who need cool summers, and sunny, bright, cosy and warm in winter. I have stayed in this apartment for a few holidays over the years now and I truly love it. The beds and linen are super comfy, the hot water is really hot perfect for a relaxing soothing shower after a day out on wintry home beach and North Gorge walks. Close to the caf, shops, bowls club, and local buses for quick trips to Point Lookout, Dunwich and Amity for travelers like me without a car. The view from the Spanish style archways on the sprawling balcony is private in aspect but looks out to the tennis court and swimming pool for guests, curlews, kookaburras and Kangaroos with their joeys. Also a great place to be lost in a novel or zine. Revelers in neighbouring apartments can be a bit noisy at times on school holidays, but generally really quiet after hours is my experience and ocean waves to fall asleep to is ace. Truly delighted to recommend. Apt 12 glows with tropical glamour and relaxing vibes.

I am definitely coming back to stay!!The interior was amazing, very retro beach!The rooms were spacious and the block out curtains in the bedrooms meant we could sleep late.I enjoyed sitting on the private balcony over looking the lovely garden and pool and once in a while the local kookaburras would come and visit.Beach was just across the road/nice and easy.The freshly renovated bathrooms were nice and big with lots of bench space!Kitchen was also spacious for meal preparing!Everything was clean.Absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing Stradbroke Getaway!

I had the most enjoyable beach holiday in this unit. It had a fabulous interior and very spacious. All nice and clean .The balcony is great for entertaining out side and very private except for the local kookaburra who pops in for a visit.It also over looks over a well maintained garden .I loved the bathroom, lots of space to put amenities on and it also has 2 showers to make things easier. The beach is just across the road and easy walking surface to the bowls clubI will definitely be coming back .Thank you

I was immediately in love with the Spanish style architecture and the grounds. The view from the car park side is a bit grim but from the immaculately kept kidney pool and garden side the deep balconies, with their white arches are utterly charming. We were in Unit 12 with a small gathering of four friends. The apartment is hug, with an open plan kitchen, lounge and dining. Perfect for entertaining with quirky dcor and an amazing giant L shaped sofa you could seat a football team on. Air conditioning in bedrooms and the light blocking curtains were much appreciated touches during the heat. And to top it off the beach was just across the road through a little bush path. A cheeky family of Kookaburras even came to visit and made off with some chorizo! Magic!
