The location and views from the deck are perfect and only a few minutes to the beach. Good swimming, good beach walks and only a few minutes to walk or drive to shops, Straddie hotel or bowls club. The accommodation is good and we have stayed a few times before and will be re-booking for next year. The only thing that didn't work was the fan in the lounge room, and some cockroaches on the ground floor, but being so close to bushland, you can expect the little critters.

Great location! Apartment was comfortable but a little dated. Fourth bedroom was very tiny - not really a useable room.

A spectacular position overlooking Deadman’s Beach. The whales put on a wonderful display! The unit had ample room for five adults. Easy walk to the beach with many options to walk to. Eg. Cylinder Beach to the left and Frenchmen Beach and Point Lookout to the right. The supermarket was in easy reach as was the hotel. The unit was clean but unfortunate that the gas was empty on the BBQ on arrival which was a bit of a hassle as we were going to have a BBQ the first night! It would be nice if this was rectified for the next clients as it should not be up to the clients to get it filled. Overall the stay was very enjoyable.

We love this unit!! It's in THE best location ever for walks, sunrises, whale watching from the comfort of the deck & close to the shops. Well equipped, very comfortable & even has WIFI! We have stayed here before & it's our favourite place to relax on Straddie.

This a very special property to us, we have stayed here before it just ticks all the boxes to make our stay on Straddie wonderful!

It was our first time to Stradbroke, and we were very happy to stay here - great location, great view, and everything we needed.

3 items. 1) No key available to lock the patio door. 2) I know from many experiences in Mintee units that they are difficult to clean, but #2 was not clean, including cooking pots and pans. 3) TV remote needs repair. #4) Oven had no instructions and does not operate correctly

We had a great stay at Acutterbove. Our first trip to Straddie and couldn't have picked a better location! Would highly recommend this property to family and friends and hope to be back one day :)

We loved our stay at Acutterbove. Everything was really great - starting with the view! You won’t get a better view on the island if you want ocean views from every room. We found the cleanliness really good, despite reading other reviews from earlier saying it was dirty. Good value for money, especially if you have a large group as it’d accommodate 8 people well. Wifi NBN is also now connected, if you need to stay online during your holiday. Thanks for our stay!

We love this unit. This was the 2nd time we have stayed here, and we will again, BUT... it needs a DEEP and proper clean. We can see the sheets are being changed and the floors cleaned between guest stays, but this unit really needs a proper clean and junk removal. The kitchen drawers are full of dirt and crumbs and an array of appliances are covered in fingermarks and have not been cleaned. Move any bedside table, and dust is caked behind them. The bedroom cupboards and garage have loads of junk that need to be removed. I don't expect a disused mattress or corroded tv to be kept in the garage where you want to park your car. The lamp in the living room has electrical tape over the switch and did not work. The tv aerial cable behind the living room tv was corroded or faulty and had to be jiggled to make work. The front door is swollen by moisture ingress so any older person could not provide the required force to open it. Again, we love this unit. The location is unrivalled, but it really needs some love. I hope this feedback is fair, these things could all be easily fixed.

Everything we needed for a wonderful stay. Watched the sun rise from the balcony. Master bedroom upstairs was fantastic with king bed and great ocean view.

The views are some of the best and you can walk everywhere. There’s a track across to Cylinder Beach for easy beach days without needing to find a carpark.

The townhouse itself is well appointed, has been renovated, beds were comfy and no shortage of glasses and plates for guests. No wi-fi but maybe that’s not such a bad thing these days?

Highly recommend and we hope to be back next year

Unit works well, just needs a thorough clean!

Such an unique position where you can walk easily to cylinder beach plus wonderful walks at dust along deadman’s beach right in front. Unit was clean and comfortably furnished. Maybe because such an amazing position the owners fail in their duty of maintenance.

On the downside there is no wifi. The garage door plus connecting door to unit cannot be locked. Meaning no security. Kitchen window was stuck but eventually able to open it. BBQ was very dirty. Windows in dire need of cleaning.

Did speak to management who sent property manager to check. Heard no more. The lack of security was the big issue.

Maybe it is just a Stradbroke thing where owners don’t really care as own such unique property.

Staff at Ray White were all great. Very pleasant to deal with.

Will not stay there until security issue is resolved.

Excellent location great views of beach. Property needs maintenance, there is no aircon , 2 of the bedrooms have no robes ...the locks on front and garage doors are broken...downstairs bathroom tiny and shower leaks all over the floor ..,all these problems could be solved for not a lot of money and you would receive 5 star reviews

We love this location - Deadman’s is close to a quiet beach, sand hills and rock pools - but the 7nit itself is in desperate need of some maintenance and TLC. Dishwasher and garage door broke during our stay, most kitchen cupboards and drawers stuck, front door needed a full shoulder barge to open, some windows were broken, there were dead insects in several places as though the place wasn’t cleaned properly and the double sink only had one plug.

Straddie nevers disappoints and Acutterabove is perfect for a relaxing get away with the family.

Awesome views and location!

Acutterbove is in a great location on a beautiful island.Booking was easy and Ray White were helpful as we had a few problems with the cleanliness of the town house which was rectified ASAP. The twin bed bases were also dirty and there were stains on the bed covers. Also you couldn’t lock the doors . A lot to be fixed .

Unreal view saw whales from the balcony! Good location.

Once again did not disappoint. Even though the weather did not play fairly we had a great time and will be back. Great location. Please do not tell anyone.

A beautiful property!! We had a relaxing and luxurious break. The location and facilities of Acutterbove are sensational. It would be great to have a queen bed in the downstairs bedroom.

Perfect location right on Deadmans Beach with stunning views, the best place to whale watch. Clean & modern townhouse reasonably well appointed. Great for couples or families.
