Relax and enjoy this private low-set home whilst being surrounded by native birds, kangaroos at your back door and the soothing sounds of the ocean. Quality furniture and appliances throughout - you won't want to leave!
Backing onto bushland, you are just a few hundred metres to the fabulous Home Beach, Cylinder Beach or a few minutes’ drive to Main Beach where you can fish and drive the beach (with a 4x4 wheel drive). Stroll down the road and enjoy a sundowner at the Straddie Pub or a coffee and some lunch at one of the cafes.
Features: 3 bedrooms with built-ins ( 1 x Queen, 1 x double, 1 set of bunks), TV, DVD, ceiling fans, fully screened, dishwasher, Front Load washing machine, heater, BBQ, off street parking, carport.
Linen Supplied and beds made for your arrival.
One small dog Allowed - The yard is fenced.

We loved our stay here. Very quiet and still close to ammenities. The home had everything we needed especially when cooking and the couch was very comfy. We loved having our meals on the back veranda alongside a family of kangaroos and kookaburras. It was the perfect place to go for long walks along the beach, no need to drive. We highly recommend this place and we will stay here again on our next visit.

Fantastic modern family holiday home in quiet private setting. Great for kids! Only constructive feedback is TV reception and age and size of TV is lacking quality compared with other great features of the home or similar homes in same rental market.

Found Melaleuca 3 when searching for a pet friendly option. Booked for an absolutely wonderful week. A beautiful, peaceful setting, with many different bird calls and bird watching opportunities all day, with kangaroos also visiting the yard. Easy walk to Home Beach for a dog friendly off leash adventure. We brought our own enclosure to safely fence off the side yard. I had no complaints about the accommodation and would definitely book again, but some things to consider include: the shower/bath access may not be suitable for older visitors or those with disabilities; no internet included, and Optus coverage is generally SOS to 1 bar of 3G; washer, but no dryer.

Another great stay with Ray White Straddie
We enjoyed our stay in Melaleuca 3. The location is central to Point Lookout, and you can enjoy the peace, quiet, and wildlife. Saying hello to the kangaroos and kookaburras each afternoon was a treat for our young daughters.
