Los Nidos Unit 3

I've returned to this property for the past 7 years. It has all you need and is clean. The greatest bonus is, as a surfer, it's one of the closest rentals to the jump off spot at Deadmans.

Close to 2 beaches . Pleasant unit with good kitchen and air-conditioning.

Great location for beaches. Unit clean and simple. Good for beach stay as easy to access and clean.

Perfect location. So close to both Cylinder and Deanmans, the shops and the bus stop. Lots of breeze with all the screened windows and doors. Has the basics in the kitchen. New lounge but is still not particularly comfortable sadly. However we were out and about enjoying the island so didn’t worry us to much. Main bed was very comfortable. Will return.
Had a bit of an issue with the keys on check in but was all sorted soon enough.

This was my first visit to North Stradbroke Island so I was "finding my feet" on the Island. Los Nidos Unit 3 was the perfect place to explore Point Lookout - to walk along the headland or along the beach (tide allowing) to Deadmans Beach, Cylinder Beach (a patrolled beach), the Gorge, the Hotel and the local shops. I was there when the whales were swimming south, close inshore, with their calves - so whale watching was also on my agenda from the perfect vantage point, the grassed seating area above Deadmans Beach.
Unit 3 was as described and as expected - appropriate for its price range, clean and tidy, supplied as described plus quality, well laundered sheets. My only comment would be that I missed having a dishwasher but that is really a minor inconvenience.
I suppose you could be disappointed with Los Nidos Unit 3 if you expected expansive ocean views from the Unit but the consolation was that a hop, step and jump down the hill was the full outdoor experience - wonderful views and expansive walking tracks. I would recommend Los Nidos 3 to friends.

We stayed at this property for a 3 night stay on the beautiful Stradbroke Island. This property has a fantastic location and well equipped with everything you may need. Located in a nice quiet street with only a short walk to Deadman’s Beach and Cylinder Beach. Can’t wait to return and highly recommend!

Worth the stay for the location to the beach and shops and for the price! Some elements are a bit old but overall a great place on Straddie for a small family. Kitchen had most of the things you need and everything was very functional. Will stay here again!

I just keep coming back because of the friendly staff, the location and the great surfing breaks. I'll be back again next March.

We loved the location and because it is a downstairs apartment it is ideally suited for holidaying with young kids. The staff at Ray White are excellent and extremely helpful and professional. The downside to this vacation rental is the furniture and mattresses are uncomfortable. Especially the single beds in the second bedroom. The fridge is also terrible. We brought a camping fridge because if there is anything more than basics in the fridge it barely works. This makes it really challenging when you are traveling as a family and try to bring most of your food with you from the mainland to last a week or more. A new bigger fridge and some comfortable lounge chairs in this holiday rental would make a huge difference to the comfort of guests.

A great option for singles, families or small groups looking for a value for money location at Point Lookout. Easy walk to patrolled beaches and shops. Basic but clean, with a fully-equipped kitchen and a washing machine in the garage. No air conditioning or clothes dryer, although we had no need for either in the week of our stay.

Our stay at Los Nidos 3 was the first introduction to Straddie for our interstate visitors. It is the perfect location for short walks to the beach to and the whales. The unit is a relaxed easy place that has all that is needed. The agent was very helpful. I would recommend Los Nidos 3.

We love staying in this spacious unit with two decks (one north facing) and large garage accessible internally. With lots of light, louvres and fans the unit is cool. We can easily walk to Cylinder, Deadman's, the shops, the pub and the Gorge.

The unit is adequet, with no real complaints.
It would be great for a young family. I've stayed here before and will book again as it's ideal for 3 old surfers.

We had a wild and stormy stay at Los Nidos. No leaks, hardly anyone around. We loved walking on the beach with the wild seas.

Great to park the car and not have to move it during our stay and just walk everywhere. The garage is lockable but our Ford Territory was too big to be able to shut the garage door.
The unit is a good size, kitchen is well supplied with plates and glasses etc. Loved the breeze that came through the louvres.
A 'welcome folder' with a map of the tracks down to the beach and of Whale track would be a handy addition I think.
The staff were really helpful from booking the unit to dropping off the keys.

We have stayed in this unit several times and enjoy it. It is clean comfortable and well priced in an excellent location so we can walk to Cyclinder and Deadman’s beaches and the supermarket.

Clean and cosy the unit was simple but clean and had what was required for our family. The location is perfect and within walking distance to everything. Could use a larger lounge or more seating in lounge room. Well equipped kitchen and cosy bedrooms.

Great location, inexpensively priced but it’s quite tired inside. Light in main bedroom either doesn’t exist or doesn’t work, only bedside light. Most of locks for outside doors don’t work properly, had to lock all doors from inside and leave via garage door. No hair dryer. A lot of dust on bedside lights above bed, behind door in main bedroom. Get what you pay for

We enjoyed our stay at Los Nidos unit 3 but unfortunately found it lacking in that it did not have a comfortable couch or lounge chair which spoilt our relaxing stay. Also a sun lounge or comfy chairs would be a added advantage as we could not relax on the veranda either as there was only bench seats.

A very spacious unit with brand new BBQ, fridge, washing machine, microwave, kettle and toaster! We love the north facing deck and fully screened glass louvres in every room. This unit is in one of the best locations with walking distance to both Cylinder, Deadman's and Bob's shop.

This spacious and comfortable unit is located in a quiet area and it's in easy walking distance to the beaches, shops and public transport. There are ocean glimpses from the large and private deck where one can enjoy the prevailing breezes. Will stay there again.

We always enjoy staying in this spacious unit, so centrally located to all the beaches/The Point/shops and more. Has everything we need including ample deck space, laundry and sleeping for extras in the spare room.
